So I read a pretty awful article by my favorite CNN staffer, Cafferty. I usually don't care to comment, but this one made me really mad.
Anyway I being the angry yet curious reader that I am, have been refreshing the page periodically throughout the day, and voila! There is my comment back to him. I hope he reads it. I'm really proud.
Here's what I said:
Interesting that you have an article deriding McCain's comments at Saddleback, when Obama's were much, MUCH worse. Where's the article about Obama?
When asked about abortion, Obama stuttered, then said he couldn't answer because "that's above my pay grade."
I would much rather have a President who can give me solid, simple answers than one who cannot answer at all. John McCain is at least straightforward and honest in his vaules & plans for the country.

shocker!
A little late in the game, Cafferty.
Why does Obama get more news coverage than McCain?
Amazing to me that Cafferty is just now noticing this. But then, does he ask "how can the media be more balanced?" or "how can I be a better journalist when I see this problem in my industry?" No. Of course not. Instead, he asks "Why does Barack Obama get more news coverage than John McCain?"
?!
CNN took my nausea to another level today.

sharon
Walking through the hallways at work...I caught a glimpse of The Cafferty File on CNN. Some lady named Sharon emailed in saying that Hillary is the best candidate. Her last sentence was something to the effect of "Women love peace more than men."
Interesting...
I know plenty of guys who will do anything to avoid a confrontation, and plenty more girls who love a good catfight. Point is...what kind of generalization is this, and doesn't that just bring up the gender issue? Which should be a moot point?
